The Assessment Journey: What to Expect
The Sessions: Dr. Hubbard typically meets with families for 3–5 sessions, each lasting between 75–120 minutes. For those traveling from out of town, Dr. Hubbard can often coordinate a condensed "assessment weekend" to accommodate their schedule.
Preparation: Dr. Hubbard requests that families provide copies of previous reports, medical records, and year-end report cards prior to the evaluation. She also recommends completing a vision and hearing screening before the first visit to ensure the most accurate results.
Feedback & Results: Once the testing phase is complete, Dr. Hubbard meets with clients via Zoom for a detailed feedback session to discuss the findings and answer any questions.
The Report: Clients will receive a comprehensive written report from Dr. Hubbard within approximately two weeks of the feedback meeting. This document includes actionable recommendations tailored for the home, school, and community environments.
